  I lived in Santa Barbara county from 2001 - 2009 (and in Lompoc, where Palmina's headquarters are). I am a fan of red wines, and I spent the first 5 years trying to find the best red wines in the area. The next 3 years, I tried to figure out which were the best priced red wines. Overall, I found Palmina has some of the best wines. Once I moved away, I maintained my membership with them and I have amazed my guests with sampling from their wines. Their blends are superb and well balanced, such as the Alisos (or their Super Tuscan, which is amazing). The Lagrein is excellent, the Undici -- fantastic. Their new La Voix Syrah was the best wine I ever had in my entire life (including sampling in Il Chianti, Italy). Their staff is always cheerful, helpful, and the quick respond. I cannot speak more highly of a winery than Palmina.
